These works for the Bootleg Project group show held in Vetro Manila on 2018 consisted of a series of 16 paintings entitled “I Did This (To) Myself” and an interactive silkscreen installation that mimicked the set-up of a sweatshop. The aim of the artist was to:

  • focus on the process of mass production and bootlegging in fashion

  • celebrate of DIY fashion

  • subvert the weaponization of trademark issues (an extortion strategy used by giant companies) through the purposeful production of low-quality prints

  • present layers of bootlegging through wall-based art and an interactive installation
